Spousal Sponsorship

In This Article, I’ll Be Answering Some Frequent Questions Asked About One Of The Most Popular Immigration Programs; Spousal Sponsorship

To some people, sponsoring a spouse, common-law partner or child seems no more than filling out some forms and preparing required documents!

Let’s be frank! There’s A LOT more! What about all that expert knowledge?!

There are many reasons why your application may be refused or returned.

Let me give you an example:

One of the most important things that an immigration officer will evaluate is whether your relationship is GENUINE. Officers examine the documents to ensure that they are not fraudulent. Thus, if they’re not convinced that your relationship is authentic, your sponsorship application could be refused. Your application will also be returned if it’s incomplete or fees are missing.

You must give detailed attention to every document needed and make sure you fill all the forms correctly and thoroughly. Let’s answer some FAQs about this program.

Answer the following questions:

1- Are you at least 18 years old?

3- Are you able to prove that you’re not receiving social assistance for reasons other than a disability?

4- Are you able to provide for the basic needs of any persons you want to sponsor?

If you answered “YES” to the above questions, you may be eligible to sponsor your spouse, partner or child.
